LPMR

In the early stages of permanent magnet motor design, motor reluctance was not exploited. Now the importance of reluctance torque is recognized in IPM design. The LPMR motor family offers the benefits of both designs through the perfect match of synchronous reluctance and permanent magnet torque generation.

In the LPMR motor family, both the rotor-embedded permanent magnets and motor reluctance contribute to motor output torque.

Special rotor design makes these motors robust and highly efficient. The permanent magnets are embedded in the rotor mechanical structure and protected from mechanical damage, magnetic stress and chemical hazards. Every PM segment is metalized and every magnetic pole is resin-coated.
