About
The company was founded in 1989 by Branimir Ruzojcic, Dr.Sc, who is still GM of the company. The company was founded with the intention of merging academic and scientific researches and engineering practical resources for offering sophisticated industrial automation products to the market.
In the early stages, Dr. Ruzojcic began with the development of electronic drives and permanent magnet synchronous motors, which still remain the most advanced technology in this industry.
In the beginning, TEMA started cooperating with the University in Zagreb/Croatia, Automation department on the Electric engineering faculty. From 1995 the team was strengthen by cooperation with “Marine Institute (BI)” in Zagreb/Croatia.
From 1999 TEMA established additionally intensive cooperation with University in Padua/Italy the Laboratory for electric drives (EdLAB) which has helped expand the scientific research and development team, working in the present activity.
After the successful project development, the prototypes were tested and showed outstanding results, which made the beginning of the serial production of these motors in Croatia possible in the year 2000.
In 2009. TEMA acquired the electronic and automation company “Fortec” in Padua, Italy, which helped strengthen the offer and presence on the market.
Today TEMA has the most advanced motors/generators using PM technology ranging from 10KW to 1500KW.
A team of expert scientists and engineers are working continuously on improving the research and development of new, innovative solutions in order to place superb products of high efficiency on the market.
